CELL MEMBRANE
Facts: 1. It is comprised of a glycerol/phosphate head and a fatty acid tail. This allows nonpolar molecules to pass through while repelling polar molecules.
2. Proteins are embedded in or attached to the plasma membrane, allowing for many functions, such as cell-cell recognition and facilitated/active diffusion.
